A successful Warehouse Manager shall oversee warehouse personnel; ensure receiving, warehousing, and distributing materials by implementing, coordinating, and applying program, operations, and personnel guidelines and procedures; ensure accurate inventory records by conducting and organizing physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of materials handling equipment; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with fork lifts and pallet jacks and the functionality of each; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.As required by Maryland regulation, the pay range for this position if performed in Maryland is $47,500-$50,000.In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience:the ability to work safely, with or without supervisionthe ability to coordinate the activities of othersthe ability to work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periodsthe ability to lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipmentthe ability to work aloft, either from a ladder, aerial lift device, or by gaffingexcellent manual dexteritythe ability to organize work load to determine priority of dutiesthe ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completedthe ability to understand and operate equipment, including, but not limited to an aerial lift device, lasher, and hand toolsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experiencePrevious supervisory and/or managerial experienceProject management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasksAuthorized to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record checkWorkplace Environment and Physical Demands:To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to lift and manipulate materials and equipment up to 75 pounds. Work is performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation, and in rugged terrain such as back easements, rural locations and at active construction sites.
