Job OverviewThe Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the HVAC manufacturingand distribution center operations. This includes managing production, inventory, logistics, and workforceefficiency to ensure the highest levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Site Manager willlead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure that production and distributionactivities align with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities1. Site Leadership and OperationsOversee daily operations of both the manufacturing and distribution center to ensure seamlessproduction and delivery processes.Develop and implement strategies to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), includingproduction output, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost-efficiency.Collaborate with senior leadership to align site objectives with overall company goals.2. Production ManagementEnsure production schedules are met by effectively managing resources, including personnel,equipment, and materials.Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productquality.Address and resolve production bottlenecks and issues.3. Distribution and Logistics ManagementOversee distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, andorder fulfillment.Ensure accurate and efficient inventory control processes, minimizing stock discrepancies andoptimizing warehouse layout.Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and minimizetransportation costs.4. Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead and manage cross-functional teams across manufacturing and distribution departments.Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.5. Safety and ComplianceEnsure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.Promote a culture of safety by implementing robust safety protocols and conducting regularaudits.Oversee the site's compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.6. Budget and Financial ManagementDevelop and manage the site's operating budget, focusing on cost control and efficiency.Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.Analyze financial data to make informed decisions regarding resource allocation and operationalimprovements.7. Continuous ImprovementDrive initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction usinglean manufacturing principles.Implement best practices across production and distribution operations to achieve operationalexcellence.Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the site competitive andinnovative.8. Communication and ReportingServe as the primary point of contact for the site, providing regular updates to the Manufacturingor Logistics Director.Prepare and present reports on site performance, including production metrics, inventory levels,safety records, and budget adherence.Collaborate with other departments, including quality, engineering, and customer service, toaddress operational challenges and opportunities.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering,Supply Chain, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.Experience:7+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics management, with at least 3years in a leadership role.Strong experience in HVAC or a similar manufacturing and distribution environment.Proven track record of driving operational excellence and managing cross-functional teams.Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of manufacturing and distribution processes, including lean principles and ERPsystems.Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on motivation and performancemanagement.Analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize taskseffectively.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate withstakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant operational software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
