Ready to bring your best?The Warehouse Manager is a key member of the leadership team for a brand new 300,000 sq foot facility slated to open in Spring of 2025. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the warehouse/shipping department with departmental oversight for administration, shipping, receiving, employee scheduling, sanitation, quality, safety, and environmental activities.The Warehouse Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams as the liaison between the facility and other departments including Sales, Distribution, Transportation, Re-Supply, as well as with local, state, and federal regulatory agency representatives to plan, direct, and coordinate departmental activities in an organized and safe manner that follows company policies, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.How You Will Make Contributions That MatterPlans, directs and coordinates the activities of the shipping department in an organized, safe and sanitary work environment that is in compliance with the Company's policies, OSHA and regulatory requirements.Coordinates the load out schedule with in-house distribution and outside contractors to ensure the timely and accurate load out and receiving of all products.Is responsible for expense management and control, including cooler dump, labor and overhead costs utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and a Management Operating Structure (MOS).Monitors the inventory and codes of all products in coolers, on a daily basis, to ensure proper rotation and traceability of all items.Ensures all transactions are recorded timely and accurately, to reflect a correct inventory position at any time. These include shipments, donations, product loss and damage.Ensures full compliance with all quality assurance standards, especially good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of products and work areas.Monitors and strives to achieve the successful attainment of the Sales to Service Metrics targeted.Contains and/or reduces cost and drives productivity within the department.Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.Actively supports internal and external audits.Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, training, organizing, integrating, and delegating.Provides employee leadership directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action, and performance management. If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in negotiations, grievances or other contract related activities and discussions.Trains, instructs, and mentors employees regarding work performed in shipping and warehouse. Oversees instruction, implementation, and enforcement of policies as they relate to employees.You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have The Following Experiences, Skills, and QualificationsHave a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in Distribution or Supply Chain capacity. Health and Safety, and Workers Compensation compliance experience is preferred.Are familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.Can adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to successfully lead others through change.Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Are highly organized with an ability to prioritize and pay attention to the details.Are a team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.Are adept at selecting, coaching, developing, engaging, and retaining a team of employees.Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, computer-based applications and have WMS systems experience. Having SAP experience is preferred.Position requires up to 10% travel, ground and/or air transportation.
