Position Description
- Develops logistic program operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Develops project site layout design, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating, and recommending new equipment.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating patrols with security department.
- Actively maintains detailed inventory log of equipment and material contained on project site.
- Coordinates with multiple vendors (including manufacturers and distributors) to arrange deliveries on a consistent schedule
- Establishes consistent delivery schedule with a 3 week look ahead (both for material that is needed on project).
- Performs quality checks of all material that enters and exits the project site
- Coordinate with QC and production to ensure identification, segregation and proper disposition of non-conforming material (RMA, RTV, Purges, Holds etc.)
- Implement MCD and Contractual obligations towards management of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE)
- Attends weekly project team meeting with various project teams to understand the needs of the job sites
- Coordinates and communicates with all project superintendents, project managers, and project engineers who have material stored in warehouse
- Coordinated closely with personnel located at MMEP to ensure that material is transferred (with documentation) to MMEP
- Document, implement and maintain controls applicable to ISO9001, ISO27001, CMMI, and UL standards.
- Maintains secure storage of certain material to meet client material security requirements
- Understand project job requirements and be able to compare material received against specific project requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management logistics, finance, business administration or relevant discipline preferred.
- 5 - 7 or more years of experience in logistic/supply change management
- Managing Processes and management
- Inventory Cycle Counting,
- MS Excel
- Analyzing Information,
- Ability to travel locally with own transportation.
- Must have eligibility to work in the U.S.
