Hire Dynamics is seeking Warehouse Handler to work on Day Shift for our valued client in Lawrenceville, Ga
Position: Warehouse Handler
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30pm
Pay: $17
Job Description:
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables professional relationships with co-workers, delivery drivers, management, and the occasional customer
- Accurately pick orders (dry and frozen) using a formatted pick sheet and associated labels (primarily completed by Handler Team)
- Communicate with Supervisor on items that are out of stock, or items that are located in the incorrect bin location
- Load trucks for next day deliveries (primarily completed by Loader/Stocker Team)
- Receive and stock product
- Handle all products with care to prevent damages
- Safely operate a forklift and/or motorized pallet jack
- Maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness throughout the warehouse
- Ensure OSHA and safety guidelines and techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
- Participate in Safety and Drug Free Workplace Training
- Abide by client Values and Behaviors
- Support and follow the client Vision, Mission, Pillars and Employee Guidelines
- Participate in corporate and departmental meetings
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of forklift and/or motorized pallet jack experience
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds as needed
- Be a team player, self starter with a strong work ethic, and ability to take initiative
