This is a Job Description for Warehouse Material Handler in Warwick, Rhode IslandSummary: The incumbent in this position is responsible for general material handling of inventory materials in the warehouse.This position is the owner of the inventory and production orders responsible for allocating material to and from all orders. Responsible for material counting and transacting at the stages of put away to stock, issuing from stock to production, receiving stock from production and cycle counting.Organize and maintain storage areas and deliver materials and supplies to internal customers.This position may be assigned to either the Reflow or Metals Warehouse.Duties & Responsibilities: Stack, shelf and label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval. Document inventory by logging and/or scanning materials in and out of inventory database. Assign all raw materials to production orders and own the reconciliation of scrap, finished goods and raw materials remaining at the end of jobs. Close all production orders the day they are complete. Maintain storage areas by organizing rack / bin locations to ensure first in-first out, inventory accuracy and efficiency. Move stock or other materials to and from storage and production areas, load docks, delivery vehicles, or containers by hand or using pallet jacks, forklift, carts, or other equipment. Deliver or route materials and supplies to departments using hand trucks, forklift, or sorting bins. Attend training to comply with federal and state regulations. Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949 Policies and Procedures. Perform all other related duties assigned by the supervisor.Requirementsand Qualifications[]{# Hlk142289191}[]{# Hlk142304825}: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of hands-on warehouse experience preferably working in a manufacturing environment. Detail-oriented and have good organizational skills. Strong basic math skills. Experience and/or the ability to operate a forklift, hand or pallet jacks, carts and other warehouse equipment.
