As an employee-owned company, our employees are key to our success and are given opportunities to learn and grow into higher level positions.Occasional delivery driver responsibilities will be required.Work shift and hours:Full-time, hourly, non-exemptMonday - Friday8:00am - 5:00pmPredictable work schedule to plan your life around: no weekends or nights for most roles.Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time.Compensation details:The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $20 per hour, depending on experience.Additional Information:This position will require you to step into a Delivery Driver role as needed.Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle CertificationIn this role you will:Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push cartsUnload and accurately receive deliveriesStore product in specific location and note in systemSelect and pack customer orders and at times deliver customer orders in light van or delivery vehicleMaintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspectionsWhat you bring to the table:Ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting up to 70 lbs., cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures depending on the locationSafely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPEGood attendance and work ethicCan perform tasks quickly and accurately2+ years experience preferredMinimum 18 years of age requiredExperience required driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVWMust have a valid driver's license issued by his/her state of residence appropriate for type of vehicleMust be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle CertificationWhy should you join Graybar?At Graybar, our employees are the heart and soul of our company.
