Opportunity Summary: The Operations Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of both the inbound and outbound distribution center product functions. The position will have duties that ensure the traceability of product flow through the distribution center from the point of receipt to shipment with the utilization of the Warehouse Management System and JDE 9.1. How you will make contributions that matter: Order Filling and Outbound Responsibilities:
  • Researches and resolves out of stock products using the Warehouse Management System.
  • Performs slot location checks to validate Warehouse Management System versus physical inventory including cycle counts, zero slot checks, quantity variance, less than ten, Phase In/Phase Out, and others as needed. This entails generating reports, physically counting the items, processing the data entry and creating follow up reports and required documentation.
  • Systemically adjusts inventory to resolve Warehouse Management System versus physical inventory discrepancies.
  • Trouble-shoot and resolves both inbound and outbound LPN issues, determines root cause and make the necessary system action to ensure proper product movement through the facility. This includes but is not limited to item discrepancies such as incorrect slots, abandoned work assignments, and improperly identified pallets or carts.
  • Process and release work through JD Edwards system to the warehouse floor.
  • Daily maintenance of code dates on product and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
  • Processes damaged and recoup items by completing and logging issues and assigns product for proper disposition.
Inbound Off Shift Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for reviewing variance reporting of product received.
  • Trouble-shoot and resolve potential receiving errors through the Warehouse Management System and JDE 9.1 system.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience - 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in Logistics or Distribution related field.
  • Other Required Skills or Abilities - Technical skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point), engineered labor standards and systems, voice selection technology (Lucas), JD Edwards, managerial/leadership skills, developing and executing budgets and cost controls, safety management, process management, inventory control, analyzing information, equipment and facility maintenance.
