** Warehouse Operations Manager**

****Responsibilities****

Oversees the warehouse operations of parts, materials, and equipment, which includes receiving and/or stock control and storage. Manages a team of Warehouse Supervisors for the Scratch Ticket Pick and Pack operation. Indirectly manages a returns department and an inventory control lead. Works to identify and implement innovative approaches to Pick and Pack, Storage, and Returns processing.

Participates in the selection, hiring, evaluation, and development of staff

Provides daily direction to Warehouse Supervisor team and develops/implements forward-looking workforce plan

Possesses strong organizational skills to best manage warehouse employees and supervision and achieve operations efficiency and productivity

Responsible for warehouse safety

Able to build solid supervisory team to motivate a productive workforce. Leads by example, able to delegate responsibilities, deals effectively with conflict and is a transparent communicator.

Leads with continuous improvement attitude

Accountable for meeting or exceeding daily output goals of the Pick/Pack and Returns departments. Oversees the details and effectively uses technology.

Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness of department activities and prepares/submits and presents various reports to management, as required

Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control and ensures materials are available to meet production schedule

Maintains and monitors procedures that ensure the accuracy of orders, security of inventory, and cost effectiveness and efficiency of operations

Develops and implements logistics and storage plans to maximize efficiency of the flow of product from receiving through shipment

Prepares forecasts for staffing, supplies, inventory, and storage capacity to meet the demands of internal and external stakeholders

Interacts with vendors and peers in Logistics (UPS), Manufacturing, Sales, Order Creation, Software/Technology and Product Development to optimize systems and procedures as needed.

Operates Warehouse machinery (forklift, pallet jack, etc.),as needed

Actively works to identify, test and implement process improvements and innovations to all processes within the warehouse

Performs additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned

****Qualifications****

EDUCATION

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

5+ years of relevant experience.

Essential special training requirements:

Forklift Operation

Physical (% time: travel, operating machinery, environmental etc.)

Proficient to Advanced Skills in MS Office (Primarily Excel)
