FirstFour Staffing has partnered with a reputable organization that is seeking to add an Operations Warehouse Manager to their team in Mobile, Alabama.

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and ensuring efficient and effective processes in receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This role involves strategic planning and execution to optimize warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, audits, and effective stock management practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing and fulfillment to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and standards; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment and facilities.
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
  • Understand and efficiently assemble products for project ready delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High school diploma or Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations, preferably within the HVAC or fire protection equipment industry. Must be mechanically inclined in order to build products before they are shipped to jobsites.
  • Certifications: OSHA Forklift Certification
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and preferred experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
