Job Description:
What will you do? The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is accountable for supervising, coordinating, training and developing one or more groups on our 1st shift that are engaged in receipt, warehousing, order filling, packing, shipping or processing of Schneider Electric products.
  • Guide your team in safety, health, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervise, coordinate and participate in receiving, storage, packing, and order fulfillment operations requiring knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, value add services, and production/order requirements
  • Drive engagement of your team through teamwork, well-being, collaboration and understanding
  • Organize and assign work on a particular shift to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience, labor hours, machines and tools to the best advantage to obtain the most favorable costs, order accuracy, and cycle to our customers.
  • Share regular training, instruction, and guidance.
  • Monitor and interpret logistics performance, cost, quality to evaluate efficiency, and continuously improve
  • Manage staffing, performance, delegation, projects, work planning and headcount while supporting company policy
