DescriptionOverview Lead and manage a team of ~10 warehouse employees in w 10,000 SQFT warehouse with minimal oversight (CEO lives out of state). Report directly to the CEO. The company is a start-up e-commerce bourbon retailer. This position requires a motivated self-starter who is 100% in charge of all warehouse operations. Responsibilities •Leadership - Directly manage a team of ~10 warehouse employees (manage shifts, training, motivating performance feedback, and hiring) •Operational Efficiency - Implement and improve warehouse procedures (inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving products) •Inventory Management - Manage and forecast inventory and material levels ($MM) •Communication - Effectively communicate both up and down (report directly to the CEO) •Problem-Solving - 100% in charge of the warehouse - forecast issues and implement improvements •Growth - Forecast and plan for a new warehouse •Management - Report directly to the CEO/Owner Qualifications •College Degree or higher (major in engineering, management, or business a plus) •Proven direct personnel leadership experience of 5 yrs+ •Experience with hourly workforce •Experience in military, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or construction a plus
