In many of our locations, we offer team members:Competitive compensation and recognitionHybrid work environment and flexible approach to workRetirement and financial savings optionsWell-being and mental health supportParental leavePhysical well-being initiatives and health insurance plansProfessional development opportunitiesVolunteer opportunitiesSummary:Responsible for operating all types of equipment – including, but not limited to, forklifts and RF Scanners – for the purpose of performing various duties such as consolidation, replenishment, pallet picking, put away, and other production-, shipping-, inventory- and receiving-related functions with direction from the Warehouse Supervisor.**THIS IS A FIRST SHIFT POSITION: HOURS ARE 7AM - 2:30PM (Must be able to work overtime and weekend as needed)Responsibilities:Understand and follow system designated direction by RF to ensure accurate selection and movement of product.Utilize RF equipment, accurate/damage-free movement of pallets and cases from reserve and forward pick locations in accordance with production standards.Accurately scan pallets to the correct warehouse location as system directed or locate pallets through the manual location option.Identify, locate, and disburse productPull and assemble orders for shipment to customersUnload incoming materials from trucks and allocate in warehouse as directedProvide feedback to warehouse supervisor on matters concerning warehouse operations and recommend measures to improve work methodsRetain knowledge of account requirements to prevent the occurrence of compliance failures.Use all warehouse equipment/tools properly to increase productivity, efficiency, safety, and report any unsafe conditions/equipment or injury to warehouse supervisors.Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment. This includes restrooms, break rooms, and equipment. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.Assist in training of new employees.Adhere to all warehouse SOPs.Any other duties as may be assigned.RequirementsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules including safe operation of equipment.Adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive but not limited to OSHA, DOT, and EEOC.Attend and participate in operational meetings as required.Maintain business confidentiality relative to picking, promotions, distribution methods, inventory, customer lists and financial reports.Ability to read, count, write, and perform simple math calculationsResponsible for the careful handling of all products, avoiding damage of any type.Ability to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectives.Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and get on and off equipment repeatedly throughout the shift.Qualifications:High School diploma / GEDMinimum of one (1) year of related experience in a warehouse environment.Strong work ethic and sense of urgencyWillingness to become certified in the operation of various types of warehouse equipment, including a forkliftGood oral and written communication skills; bi-lingual preferred.Available to work OT, various shifts, weekends, and holidays.Ability to become certified in Hazardous Material handlingAble to work with, create, and change SOPs for process and quality improvementsWorking knowledge of Warehouse Management SystemsAbility to work as part of a teamBIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
