Job Description:

Our client, a chemical distributor is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, ability to take direction and self starter which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Durham, NC

Pay Range: $17.00

Schedule: Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm

What's the Job?

  • Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct merchandise has been received.
  • Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.
  • Storing merchandise to make maximize storage space within the warehouse.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise contacting suppliers or distributors to resolve any shipment or delivery issues
  • In a indoor/outdoor working environment

What's Needed?

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience
  • 1-2 years of forklift experience
  • Ability to safely handle chemicals in a warehouse
  • Ability to work outside and inside a non-climate controlled warehouse
