Warehouse Operator-Picker/Packer
About the Role
Fill customers' orders from stored bin or pallet location in accordance with specifications on pick tickets or order forms.
What You Will Do
* Picks and packages customer orders / requisitions for shipment using RF scanning equipment in an accurate, safe and timely manner.
* Proficient in the current Warehouse Management System, necessary for following systemic processes.
* Review and complete orders in accordance with established procedures.
* Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves.
* Read orders to ascertain numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
* Examine and inspect inventory items for defects before preparing for shipment.
* Deliver or route materials to departments using hand-truck, carts, pallet jacks, lift equipment or conveyors.
* Place merchandise in totes, shipper cartons, carts or pallets to be processed in packing or wrapping stations before manifesting for loading on shipping trucks or containers.
* Performs other duties assigned.
Who You Are
* Ability to read and write, and complete required documentation.
* Prior warehousing forklift experience preferred.
* Basic math aptitude.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
* Heavy and repetitive lifting required.
* High school minimum education preferred.
