We are looking for an Order Puller Supervisor on Weekend Shift at the Allentown, PA warehouse.
Shift will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm, full time with benefits from day 1!
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversees pulling of orders and stocking of bins to meet delivery timelines,
customer specifications and warehouse best practices.
Trains use of and maintains equipment; ensures OSHA regulations are
followed.
Ensures company safety procedures are being followed at all times
Schedules associates accordingly to maximize effective order pulling and
accuracy. Manages hours to plan and controls/authorizes overtime as needed.
Supervises personnel training on proper order pulling, use of scanners and
documentation.
Helps ensure warehouse is organized, clean and safe every day.
Ensures all orders are pulled and packaged accurately; ensures the quality and
safety of the unitized product in order to arrive safely at its destination.
Ensures all daily workloads are completed on time and accurately
Make inventory adjustments; authorize no-stocks, or substitutes from random
length materials as necessary.
Coordinates completion of paperwork for accident reporting with injured
employee in a timely manner.
Trains and certifies employees on tuggers.
Completes weekly order pulling report.
Communicates with other departments to resolve issues and brings matters
needing attention to the appropriate management. Must be able to work with
Management team.
Other duties as assigned by manager or corporate.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
Minimum of seven years supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution operation or
similar industry.
Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management and outside vendors.
Basic math skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change.
Decisive problem-solver with the ability to solve problems fully and completely.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel and Email.
Ability to work Mon Fri with occasional Sat/Sun when business demands
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) and must speak English.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is primarily locally during the business day, although some out of the area travel and
overnight may be expected.
