This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.Position Summary:This position performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. Warehouse Associates are active throughout their shift working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case dry, cool, or frozen products in a multi-temperature warehouse environment using powered material handling equipment.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Safely and accurately select customer orders without damaging the productBuild orders according to assigned ticketsShrink wrap and label ordersMove completed orders to the loading dock or trailerAccurately receive inbound products, replenish and manage inventory, restock pick aisles, and handle breakage using powered equipment. Use powered industrial equipment, such as a forklift, double forklift, electric pallet jack, or walkie-riderPerform pre-shift equipment checksPerform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, such as clearing aisles of debris and stacking empty palletsAdhere to safety protocols including safety training, using personal protective equipment, and promoting a safety-first culture within the warehouseUtilize various technologies to pick and select products, palletize products, shrink wrap, and load trailersIn this role, warehouse workers frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach with their hands and arms. They often lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 175 pounds in multi-temperature environments ranging from 32°F to 100°FWork alongside team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment, assist with inventory management, and support colleagues as neededOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have a demonstrated attention to detailMust be able to pass a post-offer background check and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)6 months of related experience in high endurance or highly physical activity or role, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, landscaping, etc.Experience operating material handling equipment in a multi-temperature environmentforklift certificationStocking, rotation, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experienceFoodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experiencePhysical Demands and Work Environment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
