- Ensuring that products are packed accurately and efficiently for shipment
- Packing items into the right packaging materials, weighing them, and stacking them safely and securely
- Applying labels or tags to packages, and ensuring that packages are properly sealed
- Preparing packages for shipment, including interpreting order invoices
- Verifying the accuracy of product codes, quantities, and pricing
- Performing quality checks on packed items, and monitoring product quality for any problems or discrepancies
- Following proper safety requirements, and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
