International car rack and accessory manufacturer is seeking a Warehouse Porter to assist in supporting the distribution department. JOB FUNCTIONS: The Warehouse Porter will facilitate light maintenance and repair, as well as certain janitorial duties in a 200 k sq. Foot distribution center. Daily duties include shuttling recyclable materials to our material balers, operating a mechanical floor scrubber, watering machine batteries, and general cleaning of the work floor. There will also be facility projects such as patching and painting walls, changing light bulbs, and handling various other maintenance issues as they occur. RESPONSIBILITIES: Janitorial duties in a 200 k sq. Ft. Distribution center -sweeping, dusting, mopping. Daily operation and cleanout of a ride-on floor scrubber. Haul, sort, and create bales of recyclable materials -cardboard and plastic Haul warehouse garbage to the dumpster.
