Job Reference 1249831 Location Broussard, Louisiana, United States Industry Oil & Gas - Onshore Oil Function Logistics Job Type Contract Date Added October 23, 2024 Airswift is looking for a Warehouse Processor to work on a 12-month contract position with a major Oil & Gas company in Broussard, LA.Description: Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Duties include loading / unloading orders onto and from trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and configuring outgoing parcels. Responsibilities • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup as directed (pick, pack, wrap, label, load). • Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, label, store). • Perform inventory controls and assist in Cycle Counts. • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. • Report any discrepancies. • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, coworkers and business partners. • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment. • Follow quality service standards and comply with safety procedures, rules and regulations. Requirements and skills • Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker. • Understanding of warehousing practices and methods. • Physically able to withstand heat dust, minor lifting (up to 50 lbs.). • Become certified on various types of forklifts and overhead cranes. • Good organizational and time management skills. • Capable of comprehending shipping and receiving documentation. • Must have acute attention to detail. • Become familiar with inventory software, databases and systems. • Capable of working cohesively with a dynamic team. • Able to communicate clearly. • Potentially available for after hours on call rotation.
