**Description**
The **Warehouse** **Receiver/Picker** works together to support the Production department to provide the necessary materials when and where needed. The major focus of this position is to support how inventories are received, stored and handled correctly to facilitate the ease of locating, picking and transporting raw materials between the Production Facility/Support Center (RIPC) and the distribution center (URDC). The **Warehouse Receiver/Picker** is responsible to help maintain clear and constant communication with the various leads, supervisors and department managers on delays or issues related to material requirements/requests. This role will also aid in the companys continuous improvement activities to help us grow and constantly get better in all we do.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Warehouse**
* Use a scanner/system for receiving and warehouse activities tied to material receipt, movement, picking, and storage.
* Help ensure accurate material inventories are being picked and transported between the distribution center (URDC) and support center (RIPC).
* Provide backup support for URDC driver (transport material to RIPC and back).
* Safely use warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, and forklifts.
* Help unload and load inbound and outbound shipments
* Support continuous improvement and best practices for product movement to help maintain inventory accuracy, simplify processes and to reduce waste.
* Communicate with leads, supervisors and managers on issues that may impact or delay production schedules.
* Comply with all company policies as well as GMP, state and federal Health and Safety codes.
* Perform other duties, as assigned, and follows through on requests in a professional and timely manner.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Position-Specific Skills Required**
* Experience in produce and/or food service preferred
* Well organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams
* Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in Spanish is a plus
* Able to work PM shift
* Able to work assigned schedule (likely includes one weekend day along with 4 weekdays)
* Able to work overtime as needed
**Technical and Position Skills Required**
* 1-3 years working with a Warehouse Management Software program is a plus
* 1-3 years experience in Operations, Warehouse, or Supply Chain required
* 1-3 years forklift and electric pallet jack experience required; certification is a plus
* 1-3 years experience driving a bobtail truck is a plus
**Education/Training Required**
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Knowledge of GMP Food Manufacturing is a plus
**WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
* Able to lift 50 pounds and physically perform requirements of job.
* Sitting 10%, walking 50%, standing 40%.
* Mobility in plant / warehouse environment.
* Long periods of standing, twisting and bending.
