Warehouse Receiver
Job Duties
* Receive product - check and verify BOL, check in through warehouse management system (WMS) system
* Stage product or position in warehouse
* Consolidating rows and shifting
* Operate forklift
* Moving materials and items throughout warehouse as designated by our WMS or supervisor
* Ensuring damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
* May manage the return of products and be asked to assist pickers as needed
* Keeping work area clean and accessibleWorks carefully and safely so as to avoid injury to self or others, or damage to property or product
* Performs general warehouse duties as required
Education and Experience
* Previous warehouse experience preferred
* Previous experience using warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, walkie rider, etc.)
* High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrates an ability to work quickly and efficiently while carefully following policies and procedures
* Quickly learns pick positions, warehouse and other policies and procedures, and product codes
* Ability to read and write, comprehends both written and verbal forms of communication
* Demonstrates responsibility and dependability while on the job
* Communicates effectively and respectively with co-workers and supervisors
Physical Demands and Requirements
* Requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
* Regularly lifts and carries objects weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance
* Occasionally lifts and/or moves objects weighting up to 100 lbs. with assistance
Environmental Conditions
* Works in a standard warehouse environment
* Works in refrigerated areas
* Occasional exposure to the elements
Compensation, Benefits and Application Window
Compensation range: $23/hour plus OT
(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
