Job Title: Warehouse Receiving LeadPay Rate: $18-$20 per hour

Reports To: Warehouse ManagerJob Summary: A Lead for Fulfillment Responsibility in a 3PL (third-party logistics) company is akey position that oversees and manages the entire fulfillment process for clients orders. Thisindividual is responsible for ensuring that products are efficiently and accurately received,inventorized, and stored in the warehouse in a timely and efficient manner. They typically workclosely with warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer service teams toensure a seamless experience for clients and end customers.

Key Responsibilities:1. Oversee Receiving Operations: Manage and coordinate the receiving of incomingshipments, ensuring that all deliveries are processed accurately and efficiently.

2. Inspection and Documentation: Verify the accuracy of received goods by inspectingshipments for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with purchase orders. Documentand report any issues promptly.

3. Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the receiving team, assigning tasks, monitoringperformance, and providing training as needed to ensure that all team members adhereto warehouse procedures and safety protocols.

4. Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure that allreceived goods are accurately recorded in the inventory management system. Assist inresolving any discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

5. Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for receiving-related inquiries, coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and other warehouse departmentsto resolve issues and streamline receiving processes.

6. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve receiving processes toincrease efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Implement best practices and contributeto the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

7. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all receiving activities comply with safetyregulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and address anypotential hazards in the receiving area.

8. Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate receiving reports, logs, and records. Provideregular updates to warehouse management on receiving activities, including anychallenges or opportunities for improvement.

9. Equipment Management: Ensure that all receiving equipment, such as forklifts andpallet jacks, is properly maintained and used safely. Report any equipment malfunctionsor maintenance needs promptly.

10. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the receivingprocess, such as shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, or delays, in a timely andeffective manner.

Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or arelated field preferred.● Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a 3PLenvironment.● Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.● Excellent leadership and team management skills.● Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:● Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs.● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.● Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the season

Working Conditions:● This position may require occasional Sunday or evening work, depending on operationalneeds.● The Warehouse Receiving Lead will spend a significant amount of time on thewarehouse floor, overseeing operations and interacting with staff and clients.
