SUMMARY Under minimal supervision performs work that is varied and may be somewhat technical in nature but involves limited responsibility for final decisions, some evaluation, originality or ingenuity required, know and applies fundamental concepts and procedures, may check work or support or earlier levels of technical or staff workers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and executes corporate safety program (ISO 45001)
- Lead improvements, and documentation of existing Quality System (ISO9001)
- Leads and assists in compliance audits and assessments that support Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management.
- Maintains relevant HSE documentation, logs, and records.
- Participation in detailed incident/accident investigation, root cause analysis, and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant SHE training.
- Participation in the corporate safety committee and reporting of NEA's actions and activities.
- Help develop job hazard analysis.
- Have knowledge and enforcement of regulatory requirements such as OSHA, and EPA.
- Ensures required licensing and certifications are current.
- Conducts ongoing quality and safety training for team members as needed.
- Benchmarking of other TAI facilities on best practices.
- Inspects/approves the usage of material handling equipment.
- Anticipated travel at 5%
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management,
- 3 - 6 years experience working in an Occupational Safety and Health Management role.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Experience in supply chain management and familiarity with coordinating activities with warehouses and logistics service providers.
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Ability to prioritize and support multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
