As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working. This opening is primarily at a Corporate Office setting with opportunity to cross train and a warehouse distribution facility.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** include but are not limited to
* **Access Control** - Ensure doors are locked and secure after hours and proper identification is displayed during regular office hours.
* **Patrolling** - Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
* **Mobile Patrol** - Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors.
**CURRENT OPENING:**
* 2nd shift: 3 PM - 11 PM
* 3rd shift: 11 PM - 7 AM
* Weekend availability required
* Depending on your availability we can offer either a **Part-Time** (16-29 hours / week) or **ACA Full-Time** (30-39 hours / week) employment.

**LOCATION:** Wyoming, MI
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
* Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
* Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
* Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified
* Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
+ Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
+ Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
+ No other major violations in the last 3 years.
* Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
+ Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
+ Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
* Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
