Job DescriptionThe
Shipping Coordinator II performs duties involving billing, routing, production scheduling activities, along with the tracking of trucking equipment on the yard and the coordination of finished product deliveries.This position will serve our
IBC Division, located in
Lawnside, NJ. The hours for this position are
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with occasional overtime. Responsibilities
- Arrange shipments and create Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outgoing products with carriers.
- Accurately ship product to customer for on time delivery
- Serve as the liaison between third party interests and the NJ warehouse, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.
- Perform fuel conversions on products when needed.
- Load and unload containers.
- Receive inventory referencing packing slips accurately and report shortages/overages.
- Transfer finished goods / raw materials to various designated spaces in the warehouse.
- Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain a clean warehouse environment.
- Ensure the communication, promotion & support of warehouse health & safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Good computer skills, ERP / Oracle experience an advantage.
- 3+ years of work experience is required within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment: Forklifts, standup truck, scissor lift
