Responsibilities:

REHAU Industries is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Associate to join the team in our Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

  • Verify shipments against bill of lading
  • Pick items using SAP with a scanner (good basic math/reading skills required)
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Operating forklift.
  • Repalitizing and shrink wrapping pallets for shipment.
  • Loading & offloading trucks
  • Follow all safety guidelines.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and operate forklift. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms to lift boxes and repalitize.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment:
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment. The employee must have good basic math/reading skills to complete daily tasks.
  • Operate forklift, scanner and computer.
Qualifications:
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
  • Must be able to work in a hot & fast paced environment.
  • Team-player who can also work independently.
