Apogee is seeking a Warehouse Specialist located at US Coast Guard (USCG) Base Portsmouth, VA in support of LOGCOM-44 Mission Essential Personnel Equipment (MEPE) Product Line (PL). Why work with us? What you'll be doing:
- Verify materials against receiving documents
- Note and report discrepancies and damage
- Route materials to prescribed storage locations
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials IAW-prescribed storage methods
- Conduct inventories
- Replenish pick areas as needed
- Examine stored materials for deterioration and damage
- Process requests and supply orders
- Update inventory management system
- Operating various warehouse vehicles and equipment including but not limited to forklifts and hand tools
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Manage reports, forms, and inventory electronically
What you'll need:Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance Certifications: Forklift 5kEducation: High School Diploma Years of experience: 4 years of experience in hands-on experience providing supply/warehouse support to DoD/DHS customers
