TEXT TO APPLY: Text the word WAREHOUSE to 508-###-####' The Warehouse Specialist reports to the Senior Director of Production Operations and will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, warehouse organization, and shipping of all products in and out of Tree House. The Warehouse Specialist duties include making shipment arrangements, filling in shipment forms, checking merchandise for damage, issuing invoices, labeling packages, assisting with the coordination of inventory transfers to other locations, and taking any necessary corrective measures. This role will maximize production efficiency through effective item placement, warehouse analysis, and maintaining system related logic that affects production work. This position is FULL TIME and based in Charlton, MA. The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Friday 1-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm.As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Receive, inspect, unload, store, and deliver internally all materials/products, working closely with Production, Brewing, Retail, and Maintenance teams on scheduling needs
  • Keeping accurate records of receipts and shipments, contact shipper(s) directly if any discrepancies are found or if the shipment was damaged in any way
  • Pulling supplies from inventory and preparing them for production
  • Reacting to inventory issues, quality issues and schedule changes and communicating them with suppliers when needed
  • Coordinating any installations, removals, or repairs to equipment needed in the Warehouse, such as racks and the freight elevator
  • Placement of new items in the warehouse into location assignments with logical purpose based on business needs
  • Reporting on low inventory or communicating inventory levels when requested
  • Contacting our can suppliers and coordinating pickups of leftover slip sheets and pallets
  • Developing, analyzing, and recommending continuous improvement methodologies and techniques for inventory management practices
  • Other tasks as needed
Role Requirements:
  • Previous forklift training and experience required; forklift certification preferred
  • Familiar with inventory control systems and OSHA safety guidelines and practices
  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
  • You are self-motivated and hard-working, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet, with repetitive tasks that require unrelenting focus and attention
  • Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • You are not afraid to speak your mind
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday. Ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.
