The Opportunity

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of the warehouse. This role involves a combination of physical tasks, such as material handling and forklift operation, and administrative duties, such as data entry and inventory management.

What You Will Do

Physical Activities: * Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying quantities and conditions. * Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment. * Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization. * Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications. * Loading and shipping out outgoing shipments for delivery. * Counting, auditing and other activities as needed.

Administrative Duties: * Accurately enter warehouse transactions into the ERP system, including receipts, transfers, and shipments. * Running Material Replenishing Planning (MRP). * Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic cycle counts. * Assist with physical inventory counts. * Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. * Prepare reports on warehouse activities and performance metrics. * Expect travel withing USA and Canada.

Safety Compliance: * Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. * Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and responsibly. * Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. * Report any safety hazards or incidents to management.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent. * Forklift operator certification. * 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Physical fitness to perform warehouse tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with SAP or Dynamics 365. * Inventory management certification or similar education.
