CACI is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support our team in Lexington Park, MD. As directed, you will perform a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan and Government Material Management SOP in support of Government rapid response integration and production taskings.
What You'll Get to Do:
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting quantity and/ or part number discrepancies and obvious damages immediately upon discovery to the Project Lead;
Receipting materials properly into the Government automated inventory system and notifying Project Leads when materials arrive to support rapid integration builds;
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations and/or the production floor for immediate consumption;
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods as outlined in CACI's Logistics Work Instructions;
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, as well as conducting cyclic spot checks for audit readiness.
Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage immediately upon inspection to ensure material is returned within the vendor mandated return timeframe;
Removing material from storage locations and/or the production floor and prepare for shipment by palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and banding following Government Standards.
Coordinating material shipments by submitting government shipping request forms (WF-1605) and following up on Government shipping documentation (DD1149). Will obtain shipment tracking information and provide it to the Project Lead immediately upon shipment departure from the Government warehouse;
Will operate hand or power trucks and forklift in performing warehousing duties. May be assigned to transport Government vehicles or deliver material using a company owned delivery truck or van.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Common Access Card (CAC) and Secret security clearance.
High school diploma and a background in performing warehouse duties.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Current Secret clearance is highly preferred.
Previous experience in Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) logistics support and conducting material transactions using an automated inventory tool is preferred but not required.

Pay Range:
This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location.
