To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!ResponsibilitiesOffloading of UPS/FedExTruckload Shipping (TL) and LTL (Less-Than-Truckload Shipping) freight, sorting of freight, receiving freight into WMS, put away freight, order pick small packages, cycle counting, physical inventories, safety, and housekeepingWill follow all of Akima & SUVI Global Services Safety rules and requirementsPosition reports directly to the Warehouse ManagerPerforms all other job duties as neededPerformance Measurements:You are expected to receive a minimum of 100 packages or 100 boxes per dayYou are expected to receive one single receipt in 3-5 minutesPut-A-Way Process you are expected to put a single piece of freight away within five minutesQualificationsHigh School or equivalent and 3+ years of experienceMust possess a strong command of the English language both verbally and writtenMust possess basic math skillsOrientation to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office, computers, printers, and scannersProficiency in using a tape measure and using a banding toolProficiency in using a stretch wrap machine, handheld stretch wrappingAbility to operate a manual pallet jackA can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and meet the demands of our customer and managementA working knowledge of/or experience in/with a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), consolidation and 3PL operationsAbility to work independently and collaborate with the teamStrong personal drive and pride in workmanshipExperience to operate a forklift is desired, but not required.
