We are a private company with global presence, a long term perspective and substantial resources for continued growth.The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of tasks ensuring smooth processing of sales orders from start to finish including ample load securement and supplies to support operations, and timely recording within archiving systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for correctly completing all Healthy Pet warehouse duties within the established skills matrix. Systems and procedures must be done unaided, uninstructed, completely and on-time as assigned.
  • Performs SAP transactions including inventory, sales order processing, and archiving of all sales orders and purchase orders.
  • Responsible for all of Walmart order processing, including scheduling, load creation, picking, staging, and post-shipment processing (Delivery, ASNs, Archiving).
  • Reviews orders for accuracy and resolves discrepancies.
  • Communicates issues to appropriate Sales Support Specialist (SSS).
  • Prepares correspondence, reports or other documents, keeping others adequately informed.
  • Performs accurate receiving and shipping audits including materials inspections in accordance with company policies and procedures. Reports accuracy, damage, quality and material safety concerns to your supervisor immediately upon the receipt of damaged products or loading of outgoing shipments.
  • Performs weekly inventory cycle count for load securement supplies.
  • Assists with purchasing and receiving of office and load securement supplies.
  • Participates in month end closure and yearend inventory counts and subsequent audit reporting for all Finished Goods and RAW material.
  • Maintains a clean work environment at all times. Performs daily cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Ensures the storage, availability, cleanliness, maintenance and functionality of all warehouse tools and supplies at all times. Reports damage & outages in a timely fashion to assure zero time loss and a high degree of effectivity and efficiency.
  • Actively contributes to and advances our constant improvement efforts, maintains a strong teamwork environment, creates and maintains highly productive, effective and professional interactions and relationships at all times.
  • Responsible for meeting all productivity goals and timelines set by the supervisor and the Healthy Pet organization.
  • Maintains a safe and hazard-free warehouse and completes all duties in a safe and organized fashion.
  • Understands and is responsible to achieve warehouse goals including KPI's and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Promotes safety programs with self and fellow employees, complies with all safety rules and actively participates in the company's safety programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Accurate Data Entry skills.
  • Advanced organizational skills.
  • This position requires satisfactory completion of a company-provided forklift certification program and maintain this certification throughout term of employment.
  • One year of experience in a warehouse environment (preferred).
  • Shipping and receiving experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of safety culture and have current safety training certifications in 4-5 primary safety disciplines or skills. It is preferred that the applicant has served as a member of a safety committee within the past 2-3 years.
  • Must be able to earn the cooperation and respect of peers and supervisors and not have had a disciplinary problem within the past year.
