General Summary: Warehouse Team Members assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory, picking, and preparing outbound orders, and general inventory management for our Distribution Center. Our Distribution Center provides service to all our FiveStar stores. Essential Job Duties:
- Receive inventory and place in assigned locations.
- Receive orders from stores, pick stock as listed on invoice, and prepare order for delivery.
- Respond to questions from store management and assist in resolving any issues.
- Follow proper invoicing procedures, verifying product to invoice.
- Follow proper stocking procedures.
- Assist with general upkeep of equipment and warehouse area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn all aspects and equipment involved in warehouse/distribution center.
- Excellent time management skills, able to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Team player, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
- Basic computer and math skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is primarily in the warehouse and will require standing and walking up to 8 hours.
- May be subject to seasonal climate conditions including heat and cold.
- Must be able to operate all equipment associated with warehouse, including handheld scanners, forklifts, and liftgates.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
