Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of various industrial plastics. We are seeking a Warehouse Superintendent for our facility near Jackon, Tennessee. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing all functions within the warehouse and will ensure the timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff, lead internal efforts for best practices
- Supervise physical conditions of warehouse and equipment
- Conduct annual inventory
- Investigate causes of problems and lead corrective action
- Ensure all carriers comply with regulations and standards
- Interface with managers and personnel of other departments to assure customer satisfaction
- Manage flow of all materials in and out of warehouse
- Maintain all records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years relevant management experience in warehousing, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of JDE
