This leadership role ensures the safe operation of personnel and equipment; that all shipping and receiving deadlines are met, while maintaining the highest levels for inventory accuracy and on-time shipping / receiving. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • The Supervisor reports to the DC Manager and leads a warehouse crew of hourly associates.
  • Interacts with other teammates in Production, Warehousing, Transportation, Maintenance / Sanitation, Safety, Quality and Customer Fulfillment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates all aspects of warehouse operations on designated shift.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting teams' performance to DC Manager.
  • Ensure products are handled properly to minimize damage and preserve quality.
  • Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support efforts to evaluate warehouse operations and implement measures to maximize efficiency.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting teams' performance in relation to company KPI's.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews.
  • Monitor daily operations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Implement and enforce all policies and procedures for company and warehouse operations.
  • Enforce the plant's safety with GMP's / GDP's.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse.
  • Monitor equipment: submit work orders for repairs and recommend changes for safe operations.
  • Comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP / GDP and Food Safety Standards.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - positive attitude - team player.
  • Hard working, self-starter.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills - fluent in English.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in NetSuite ERP, UPS Worldwide, Fed Ex Ship Manager, and Microsoft Office software are preferred.
  • Certified forklift driver - HACCP and GMP / GDP training.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
EDUCATION
  • College degree preferred - HS diploma required.
