We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team with experience in 3PL and is a high performer full of energy to drive results! This position reports directly to the Site Manager. It requires knowledge of warehouse operations, time management and the ability to work independently and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and scheduling of all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintaining inventory and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner.
  • Participate in the selection of new hires by interviewing and testing operator skillset if needed by following Company guidelines.
  • Assist management in the proper training, supervising, evaluating and disciplining of warehouse personnel. Ensure equipment is operating properly and required safety checks are being done. If required authorize equipment repair.
  • Assist management in the time management system by updating employee absences, missed punches, errors and other time requirements.
  • Assist management in ensuring warehouse personnel is following established procedures or policies.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding warehouse operations.
  • Participate in corrective actions from internal or external non-conformances by establishing root cause and recommending improvements.
  • Observe and address any warehouse health and safety concerns immediately by notifying the Site Manager or Safety Coordinator/Manager if required.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory.
  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely following all procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Logistics, Business or related field a plus.
  • 4-6 years' experience in logistics environment, at least 2 years of supervisor experience, familiar with use of RF Scanners
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Skills Needed:

  • Professional communication skills; verbal and written
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure and time constraints while problem solving.
  • Team player with Servant Leader characteristics
  • Forklift experience Sit-down, Reach Truck(Cherry Picker is a Plus)
  • Lean Six Sigma training and certification a plus
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stand, stoop, squat and grab, walking and sitting for extended periods
  • Bilingual-English/Spanish
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays if needed.
