(SUMMARY: Supervise Warehouse personnel and shipping/ receiving activities to ensure raw materials and product are received and/or shipped to meet customer and Company requirements in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. Qualifications College degree & 3 years experience or equivalent combination of education/experience. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and customer service skills. Must be able to make sound decisions, prioritize work, and direct team members in a busy warehouse environment. Proven track record of effective leadership. Able to secure desired results through motivation, coaching, and feedback. Must have a positive, professional attitude and lead by example. Able to perform accurate inventory counts and audits. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 35 pounds periodically). Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms. Able to work overtime as needed. Excellent computer skills (MS Office), problem solving and math skills. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate shipping/receiving activities. Establish shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods to meet customer requirements. Direct activities of warehouse workers and ensure efficient labor utilizations. Enforce company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements. Build positive relationships with vendors, customers, and team members. Maintain records on incoming/outgoing shipments and provide required reporting. Monitor Inventory Control System to drive improvements in inventory levels. Determine routing and legal load limits of trucks, inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications. Analyze and standardize procedures to improve operational efficiencies. Perform administrative shipping/receiving functions as needed. Address employee concerns, resolve problems, train, coach and discipline employees. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement. Must perform other assigned duties.
