Warehouse Team Lead (Evening)Job DescriptionOverview Working shift: Monday-Friday (Sundays when needed). Shift starts at 2 PM-2:30 PMAs a Warehouse Team Lead (Evening), you'll contribute to the success of a warehouse location for PBNA by coordinating the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse. You'll design and develop product movement and storage systems, improve operations, and support the front-line staff. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for the full warehouse business unit across all shifts. You'll be responsible for managing numerous shifts in either a union or non-union environment and developing a team of frontline employees. When needed, or when there are not active leadership tasks to be completed, you'll engage in other warehouse work as well, to include picking, forklift operation, cleaning, etc.Responsibilities * Manage frontline employees * Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and aligning with legal regulations * Maintain quality standards of finished product * Drive development of future frontline leaders * Work with DSD delivery teams * Ensure smooth and timely delivery of product for the Sales organization * Achieve operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans * Review and prepare any action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met * Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions * Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel * Develop and motivate team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals with the DSD team * Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact * Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues * Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements * Improve the sites false out of stock score * Develop and implement warehouse operations system improvements by leading continuous improvement projects as assigned and by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout * Troubleshoot all receiving and shipping complaints to find the cause, help resolve the issue, and prevent reoccurrence * Maintain regular presence on the plant floor * Regularly lift up to 40 lbs. * Regularly operate forklift and manufacturing equipment * Occasionally work off-shift and weekendsCompensation and Benefits: * The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,600 - $75,950. * Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
