12 hour – day shift rotating. We have 2 different crews that work opposite of each other. Every other weekend. REQUIREMENTS: Must have previous forklift experience; preferably in a warehouse environment. Ideally, the candidate would be OSHA certified as a forklift operator. Regardless all candidates must be able to follow, understand all forklift safety requirements and pass forklift certification. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Packaging Duties:Packaging Forklift supportPull product off packaging lineRecording pallet counts accurately on the production sheetPlace pallets in warehousePackaging LinesOperate packaging equipment to produce totes and 25kg pallets.This includes bag adjustmentEquipment knowledgeGeneral troubleshootingDamage Product HandlingResponsible for identifying and moving damage product to designated areas within the warehouseResponsible for breaking damage pallets down and restacking pallets per company requirementsResponsible for dumping damage bags into super sacks for reprocessing per company requirementsGeneral Sanitation DutiesCleaning up product spills with in the warehouseSweeping and cleaning interior of warehouseWiping down and keeping all equipment, railings, bumpers and shelves/walls within the warehouse clean.Participation and support of quality related activities and safety programs including training on Feed Safety, Product Quality, & Environmental Safety and Health programs. Miscellaneous Projects related to the warehouse as needed.
