Job DescriptionPosition Title: Warehouse TechnicianPosition Reports To: ForemenPosition SummaryThe W arehouse T echnician supports all departments by making sure the warehouse is organized and supplied. They manage, operate , and repair warehouse and job site equipment inventories. The W arehouse T echnician will organize, receive, order, and export warehouse deliveries, including job site materials and consumables.Essential FunctionsFollow verbal directions as required to perform duties and responsibilities as listed below .Heavy lifting will often be required to perform tasks .Must be able to kneel, squat, and climb .Must be able to perform required duties for extended periods of time.Clean up of work area, supplies, materials, and equipment.Communicate regularly with the Foreman with regard to issues and concerns on the job site.Responsible for ensuring that work continues in the Foreman's absence.Comply with all Apache and client safety policies and programs.Maintain a reliable attendance recordsAlways maintains a clean and safe work environmentWork unsupervised in an efficient and effective manner.Able to wear all required PPEOther duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceValid certification to operate forkliftsValid State Driver's LicenseKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMaintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment.Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse.Ensures the warehouse is properly secured at all times.Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts as directed.Purchase order entriesCommunication and delivery scheduling with vendors and suppliers.Maintains physical condition of the warehouse by inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.Pick-up and deliver materials to job site locations as directed by othersWork Conditions / Physical DemandsRemaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.No adverse environmental conditions expected.Must be able to work in high noise volumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, dusty conditions, hazardous machinery, precarious places, proximity to other employees.Background Check RequirementsDrug ProgramAll employees at made aware that Apache has a comprehensive drug/ alcohol policy and program in place, which includes random testingFor over thirty years, Apache Industrial Services has met the needs of the petrochemical, industrial and energy sectors by providing superior quality, service and long-term value to our customers.
