Job Type Full-time Description Maine Beer Company is dedicated to producing the best beer possible. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our warehouse team and assist in daily warehouse operations. First and foremost, the candidate must have a positive attitude and work well with others. This position is full time, typically 40+ hours per week, and based in Westbrook, Maine. Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials and finished product in company box trucks ( Class B CDL required ) between the Westbrook warehouse and the brewery in Freeport.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that high quality standards are met in all warehouse operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and follow safe work practices.
- Adhere to Maine Beer Company's warehouse SOPs to complete daily responsibilities.
- Assemble and ship weekly orders for distributors in accordance with SOPs.
- Safely load pallets onto trucks for delivery to distributors.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks and maintenance checks of warehouse facilities and equipment as assigned.
- Follow FIFO method for all finished product shipments and raw materials.
- Perform physical inventory counts as assigned.
Requirements
- Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required.
- A positive and respectful attitude with a willingness to help co-workers.
- Ability to multi-task while working safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision at times.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- An individual that takes initiative, is proactive and is self-motivated.
- Great attention to detail.
- Schedule flexibility is a plus (e.g. able to work late when needed, able to accommodate changing/rotating schedules)
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus, as is familiarity with MacOS, Google Docs, Slack, etc.
- Electric pallet jack / forklift experience is a plus but willing to train the right individual.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs to waist height, and 25 lbs to shoulder height repetitively.
