GENERAL SUMMARYThis position performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from existing stock, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists in the loading and receiving of warehouse products which includes unloading trucks and checking in product```{=html}``` - Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; loading barrels, totes or other packaging item; and placing orders in delivery area```{=html}``` - Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards```{=html}``` - Assist in the counting of physical inventory```{=html}``` - Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times```{=html}``` - Wear the proper safety equipment```{=html}``` - Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICSRequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to work in cold temperature. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing all day. This position may also be required to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
