More recently, to develop the most efficient, pragmatic and state-of-the-art solutions, Topcon formed a new strategic division, Topcon Healthcare Solutions, whose primary objective is to create world-class software solutions for the eye care industry and beyond. The company's products enable the collection and visualization of a wide range of imaging and clinical data while providing quantitative and clinical analysis capabilities.

Topcons software gives clinicians access to patient exam data captured from OCTs, Visual Fields, Fundus Cameras, and other Topcon and third-party devices. Topcon leverages its new data management system called Topcon Harmony, where practitioners gain access to both DICOM and non-DICOM information stored in a central, cloud-based environment. Additionally, Topcon now provides an integrated service that connects practitioners to an extensive network of reading services to assist in the management of sight-threatening eye diseases.

Duties:

* Prepare orders; pull materials; pack boxes; place orders in delivery area

* Pack, label and create shipping documentation for the warehouse manager.

* Maintains inventory control, organizing fixed assets and inventory based on packing orders and serial numbers

* Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents (i.e. boxes are reused constantly, need to be flexible with identifying what hardware is stored in boxes)

* Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise, notify warehouse manager immediately

* Following up on repair orders and notifying supervisor of updates

* Tracking shipments sent to customers

* Keep track of all items in the warehouse and their whereabouts

* Ensure that all kits and hardware list are complete before shipping out. Request order of missing components.

* Continuously organize warehouse to ensure that items are in proper bins and others know where to find whats needed.

* Assist other warehouse employees when necessary

Requirements:

* High school diploma/GED

* Ability to lift loads of up to 80 lbs.

* Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

* Ability to meet deadlines for shipments

* Must be organized and detail-oriented

* Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously

* 1+ years of warehouse experience (shipping and receiving)

* Ability to work on feet

* Warehouse safety training a plus

* Current forklift certification a plus
