If so, we may have a great position for you!There is an opening for a Warehouse Worker I at our Freeport Distribution Center.As a Warehouse Worker I for Zurn Elkay Water Solutions, you will have the opportunity to complete customer orders that will be shipped to people all over the world! In this role, you will use material handling equipment along with shipping tools to process outgoing orders. There are opportunities for advancement with the progression of grade levels in each role and posted positions.ResponsibilitiesOff-loading trucks utilizing forklift and pallet jackVerify that the quality, type, and amount of materials received are accurateBreaking down freight - Hand off-loading of product to consolidated put-away locationPicking product orders - Hand loading product to palletsPackaging outbound shipments - Wraps, straps or over pack boxing of productManifesting UPS shipmentsCreates bills of lading for truck carriersProduce and attach identifying tags to product or shipmentsFulfills all safety responsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/LeadQualifications / RequirementsPrior warehouse experience (preferred, but not required)Attention to detail is criticalAbility to work independently and as part of a larger teamAbility to read and understand work instructions (written and verbal)Ability to adhere to Safety and Quality standardsAbility to work for long periods of time on your feetSalary RangeThe compensation range identified below is a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from this location. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors.
