****POSITION SUMMARY****
Matthews International is seeking committed, hardworking Warehouse Worker to work in our Distribution Center in the Brooklyn NY area, for our memorialization business segment. The Warehouse Worker will be performing all functions for the arrival, departure and delivery of specific products within our memorialization business segment.

****JOB RESPONSIBILITIES****
You will be loading an unloading caskets and other memorialization products using dollies and other equipment (non forklift position).
You will be preparing products for delivery and unloading products to be stored in our warehouse.
You will be scanning products, pulling correct orders and maintaining a clean work environment.
Additional duties as assigned.
****QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS****
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
1+ years of previous warehouse experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work Full time schedule and possible overtime (Weekends).
Basic computer knowledge required.
Hand tool/power tool experience strongly preferred.
****PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT****
Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
