Job Position: Warehouse WorkerLocation: Early Branch, SC 29916Pay Rate: $15.50/hrShift: Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:40pm Job Summary: Our Client is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties, including receiving and processing shipments, managing inventory, order picking, packing, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and timely delivery of products to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Inspect products for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damage.
- Pick and pack orders according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order picker lifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Comfortable working at heights while operating an order picker lift.
- Prepare shipments for outbound deliveries, including labeling, wrapping, and palletizing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (training provided).
- Experience with or willingness to learn to operate an order picker lift; must be comfortable with heights.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
