DescriptionJob Overview: We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, products, and supplies while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Shipping: Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify the accuracy of received materials against shipping documents. Prepare outgoing shipments, package items securely, and coordinate with carriers for timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory systems. Organize and label inventory items for easy retrieval and efficient storage.
  • Order Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from designated locations within the warehouse, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment or delivery. Ensure that orders are accurate and complete before shipping.
  • Material Handling: Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials and products within the warehouse safely and efficiently. Stack and arrange items neatly to maximize storage space and prevent damage.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Report any issues to supervisors and assist with resolving quality-related concerns.
  • Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and maintaining aisle clearances. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Assistance with Other Tasks: Assist with various warehouse tasks and projects as needed, including inventory audits, assembly, and general maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
    • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
