**Job Title: Warehouse Associate**
**Job Description**
Candidates will be primarily working in Unloading and Receiving departments. They will be assigned a dock to unload 18-wheelers, palletize materials, and put them onto the conveyance system for inventory addition. Additionally, they may handle cross-dock functions, which involve moving products directly to shipping without inventory addition. Flexibility for labeling and moving into the shipping area to load trucks may be required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload freight manually and palletize materials at the assigned dock.
+ Use Warehouse Management System terminal, scales, and scanners to identify, separate, count, combine, and scan freight.
+ Handle and process freight safely and report unsafe conditions and damaged products to management.
+ Maintain a clean work area.
+ Load trucks, ensuring heavy products are on the bottom and lighter products on top.
+ Enter and locate information on a computer or communication device and write documents or reports if necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
+ Experience in inventory control, order picking, and material handling.
+ Proficiency with pallet jacks and manual labor tasks.
+ Experience with loading and unloading trucks.
+ Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanners.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proven track record of good attendance.
+ Ability to learn quickly and be flexible in meeting goals.
+ Experience in labor-intensive roles and familiarity with strict break structures.
+ Previous truck experience, capable of moving 1000 pieces per hour.
+ Ability to lift up to 60lbs and flexibility to move between areas within the facility.

**Work Environment**
The distribution center is not climate controlled, making it hot and tiring during summer. It spans over one million square feet and is 30 years old, with some dust and occasional grocery spills. Shorts must be no more than 6 inches above the knee, and tennis shoes with covered heels and toes are preferred. All pants and shorts must be worn at waist level, and shirts must not have large logos, offensive pictures, or controversial language. Contract associates may be required to wear vests, which should be kept in the car when not in use.
