Now Hiring: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.ResponsibilitiesOperate company-owned vehicles safely to deliver merchandise to and from customers and suppliers.Load and unload merchandise on vehicles.Obtain signatures on delivery and pick-up tickets.Follow assigned delivery schedules and ensure timely deliveries.Report accidents in accordance with company policies.Pull and check customer orders, preparing them for delivery.Place stock in proper bin locations and maintain a clean and safe warehouse.Report operating problems or maintenance needs on vehicles.Maintain vehicles in a neat and clean condition.Provide courteous and service-minded interactions with customers.Receive and ship merchandise.Inform supervisor of shortages, overloads, or damaged merchandise; refer customer complaints to supervisor.Attend department and company-wide meetings as requested.Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.Operate a forklift as needed.Essential SkillsValid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role is preferred.Forklift certification preferred but not required.Why Work Here?This company is a well-established organization with a rich history dating back to 1919. Work performed will include lifting, reaching, standing, sitting, stooping, and walking.
